Team GO Rocket counter guide

Find a team for your next Rocket battle.

Shadow Battle Lab combines current boss, leader, and grunt possibilities with Pokémon stats, moves, type effectiveness, shields, and team roles. Choose an opponent above to compare a complete three-Pokémon plan.

What does the Rocket simulator calculate?

It tests ranked teams against each exact lead, second, and closer combination. Results show modeled scenario wins, speed, survival, moves, and which opponents each team member is expected to handle.

Can I find the best Mega or Primal?

Yes. The Mega matchup finder lists the Rocket battles where a selected Mega or Primal earns a place in a ranked recommendation, along with that team's scenario win rate.

What if I do not own a recommended Pokémon?

Tap “I don't have this” on any recommendation. The simulator excludes that exact regular, Shadow, Mega, or Primal candidate and reranks the strongest remaining teams.

Does Go Battle Forge need my account?

No. Results use example Pokémon with perfect IVs, not your own catches. Check the level and moves on each card before using the team. No Pokémon GO login is needed.
